There was an option missing from my app for a long time. You have asked me about it several times. So this update related to the cable tray side profiles was long overdue.
When I made the first version of my app it was not even an app. I made it for my own use for the company I still work at. So I only wanted to make our lives easier when we have to indicate the routes of the cable trays in Plant3D. Therefore I only included ladder type cable trays in my scripts. All other extensions came later. At that time we only used ladder type trays which are having U-type side profiles turned outwards. But it turned out that this might not be the usual case in the world. So several times I got requests to make the side profile flip possible in my Python Cable Tray app.
From now on it is possible. With the B1 parameter you can flip the two side-rails. Just give it a negative value and you will have an inward facing profile.
Here is a very short video how it is working:
To have the usual version (with outward facing) use my scripts as before with positive B1 values. As usual all parts what you have created in the past will remain the same.
For now this flipping option is only working for the ladder type pieces, for the plate-type trays it might come later.
