Although Smart Tray was a powerful tool from the begining with many functions. I have added two additional functions. From now on you can flip tray:
New functions
Flip Tray
With this function you can flip a straight cable tray by 180 degrees. It will not change the length of the trays; it will actually not change much. You will hardly see a change in the model. But the important thing is that the ports of the straight tray will be flipped. Therefore, the first port and the second will swap positions.
That is very useful if you regularly use the TRAYLENGTH command. The way TRAYLENGTH function work is that you can change the length of these straight cable trays easily but it only works from the first port. Meaning the first port is the base of the length-measurement and the first port will stay in place after the change. But what if you want to change the length of the straight part measured from the other end, the second port? Then with this function you can flip the tray 180 degrees. Then you can change the length of the tray from the opposite end.
Flip Tray Bend
When you are creating a new cable tray route and you use the full functionality of the Smart Tray app you very well just clicking the screen, route pipes with some automatically placed cable tray bends. Something like this:
The problem here is that some bends are upside down. You have to flip them. But it is not that simple, both ports are connected to a pipe. So you have to swap these to have the correct orientation for the bends. This function FLIPTRAYBEND will do just that. It will rotate the bend with the proper angle and will reconnect the lost connections.
Also here is a video showing these new functions:
